Mary Magdalene, can you write my book using AI?

  • Elena Mary

I had a moment when I hit a wall while writing my book. I was feeling completely exhausted and just done with the whole process. I heard about others doing it all much quicker wirh AI so I asked Mary Magdalene whose presence I have felt helping me a lot- why can't you just channel the message through AI? Surely you can do anything, and if it's done with good intention we could use it to make the whole process easier?

I get the irony- I was asking someone who's tagline is trusting the wisdom within if I could outsource my power to her and a machine... but I was just having a weak moment.

And that's exactly why I started writing the book, because it was exactly these moments that I witnessed working as a nurse that used to upset me so much. People were asking to feel instead of numb, they were asking to listen to their bodies, and they were asking to listen to their intuition, and time and time again I saw that moment where they gave up trying and instead did what was easier-hand their power away. And of course they did, because they were ill, tired, and in a hospital environment with unhealthy food, lack of access to natural light or nature, and on top of that they were often scared too...they were at their weakest.

And in my nurses code of conduct it I had pledged to be the patients advocate- I should have stood up for them more, but the thing is I was also at my weakest, I was working shifts, without time to properly eat or drink, in that same unnatural environment for 13 hours at a time, living in continual fear that I would make a mistake because doing the job well with constant staffing issues was next to impossible.

This is why I eventually left, and I made a different pledge-to myself first -that I would look after myself better before I gave to others, and then to my clients- that I would support people to connect to their own life force, to allow space to feel, and to listen to the wisdom within.

But this path, despite sounding simpler is not always easier, for me or for those I work with- feeling instead of numbing can be painful, and undoing all the conditioning that disconnects you from your intuition and power can also be a long and arduous journey.

This is the journey of being human though surely. Yes we can numb the whole experience, make it all easier, but what is the point of us being here then? And to me this is one of the things that Mary Magdalene teaches me about- how to recognise that we are spirit here with a human body too, and to experience all of the range of feelings and all of the beauty that comes with that.

I'm not saying we shouldn't use AI if that feels right to us, and I'm not saying that we shouldn't take medication either. I'm sure we can use anything consciously if we don't bypass the feeling behind it and if we don't give our power away to it, or to use it to numb just because it feels easier. I am just noticing the patterns.

What Mary Magdalene answered was yes of course that was possible, and yes it might feel easier at times, but it wouldn't go through or come from, my heart.

And of course it would defeat the whole point and message altogether.

Reflecting on this all has made me realise though how even outside of the hospital we are surrounded by artificial foods, artificial lights, often under chronic stress and out of synch with nature due to the challenges of modern life- and these conditions make it so much more tempting to turn to a quick fix. And options for quick fixes are all around us, but at what cost?

Today I am celebrating Mary Magdalene's feast day with a slow day, turning inward, being grateful for my connection to earth and spirit and my body as a channel to experience it all 🌹

This might not be your truth or perception but I am just sharing what I feel to be mine.
